About the Role

As a Risk Management Surveyor, you will ensure compliance with the Technical Manual and Building Regulations, inspecting new-build and newly converted buildings. You will plan and manage your workload, record findings, and communicate outcomes to customers and colleagues, playing a key role in identifying defects and supporting developers with practical guidance.

Responsibilities

• Carry out site inspections and provide technical advice to support safe, compliant construction.
• Inspect new-build and newly converted buildings, ensuring work aligns with the Technical Manual and Building Regulations.
• Plan and manage your own workload.
• Record inspection findings.
• Communicate outcomes clearly to customers and colleagues.
• Identify defects.
• Maintain standards.
• Support developers and builders with practical, solution-focused guidance.

Requirements

• 3+ years’ experience in construction, surveying, inspection or a similar technical role.
• RMS level 1, 2 & 3, or RMS L1 demonstrating a willingness to progress to Chartered (Member level) & Class 2b Competent under the Building Inspector Competency Framework.
• Good understanding of Building Regulations, site inspections and defect identification.
• Experience working with developers, builders or construction stakeholders.
• Comfortable using MS Office and mobile devices.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to travel across multiple sites.
