About the Role

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients
Provide psychotherapy and medication management as needed
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care
Document patient progress and treatment outcomes
Participate in case management and treatment planning meetings
Stay current with developments in psychiatric treatment and practices
Provide education and support to patients and their families

Requirements

MD degree from an accredited medical school
Valid medical license to practice psychiatry in New York
Previous experience in a psychiatric setting is preferred
Strong diagnostic and assessment skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team
Knowledge of current best practices in psychiatric medicine
Must be board-certified
