About the Role

As an Assistant Manager, you are a key member of the store leadership team, supporting the mission statement and achieving store productivity in sales, shrink, payroll, and expenses. You will coach and motivate a high-performing team of stylists while treating everyone with dignity and respect.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales to ensure the overall success of the store.
• Build brand loyalty by providing an omni channel Oasis experience to every customer.
• Provide feedback to improve efficiency and create value for the brand.
• Support the Store Manager in finding and retaining talent.
• Make networking connections to ensure a wide talent pool.
• Ensure an exceptional onboarding experience that supports retention goals.
• Organize and plan in detail to get the job done.
• Own the sales floor to execute daily operations and create the Oasis for customers.
• Partner with the Store Manager to supervise and conduct training with the team.
• Lead by example, communicate clearly, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Follow all Windsor policy and procedures with integrity.
• Support the execution of the Windsor Merchandising Directive.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and tidy store in compliance with Windsor’s Visual Guidelines.
• Make smart merchandising decisions.
• Live and promote Windsor values in all actions.
• Deliver your best every day by fostering a culture of respect, care, ownership, and personal commitment.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of retail management experience.
• Proven leadership experience and ability to develop and motivate a team of up to 25 employees.
• Ability to think quickly and resolve issues with customers and associates.
• Effective communication skills in group settings and one-on-one.
• Willingness to welcome feedback and improve.
• Flexible and reliable schedule, including opening and closing the store.
• Ability to count, communicate, read, and write in English.
• Ability to access all areas of the store.
• Ability to operate and use all equipment necessary to run the store.
• Ability to climb ladders.
• Ability to move or handle merchandise or supplies (0-25 pounds).
• Ability to work varied hours/days to oversee store operations.
