About the Role
This role focuses on high-volume, top-of-funnel recruiting and sourcing across a variety of job families, including non-technical and technical roles. The recruiter identifies and engages passive candidates, conducts initial screens, coordinates assessments and interviews, and supports candidates throughout the process within an experimental, agile recruiting project.
Responsibilities
- Recruit, source, and attract candidates for a wide range of roles, including non-technical, hardware, data engineering, and software development positions.
- Focus on top-of-funnel activities, including proactive outreach to passive candidates.
- Conduct candidate outreach through various channels to build and maintain strong talent pipelines.
- Perform initial phone screens to assess candidate fit, interest, and qualifications.
- Set up candidate assessments and business phone screens, ensuring stakeholder alignment.
- Prepare candidates for interviews by providing clear information about the process, timelines, and expectations.
- Check references and support offer processes in alignment with established guidelines.
- Conduct orientation activities for new employees and support changes in employee status.
- Perform exit interviews and process related documentation.
- Use internal applicant tracking systems (ATS) and tools to track candidate progress and update records.
- Generate and maintain reports on recruiting activity, pipeline status, and performance metrics.
- Meet weekly and monthly targets for candidate outreach, pipeline generation, and productivity.
- Collaborate closely with recruiting peers to share insights and best practices.
- Interact with recruiting management to understand hiring needs and adjust sourcing strategies.
- Rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines, escalating issues and seeking guidance when needed.
- Deliver results in a fast-paced, data-oriented, goal-driven environment while upholding high standards in candidate experience and hiring quality.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to continuously improve skills and performance.
- Contribute to an experimental agile recruiting project by quickly pivoting to new priorities and supporting emerging pockets of demand.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (BA) in a relevant field.
- 3–5 years of experience in recruiting or talent acquisition, with a strong emphasis on sourcing.
- Proven experience in passive candidate recruiting, including identifying, engaging, and converting candidates.
- Demonstrated ability to fill niche and higher-complexity roles.
- Experience with high-volume recruiting and the ability to deliver qualified candidates within tight timeframes.
- Technical sourcing experience, particularly for roles in technology or corporate environments.
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and related recruiting technologies.
- Strong Excel skills for tracking activity, managing data, and producing reports.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfort working with data and metrics, including weekly and monthly productivity and performance targets.
- Ability to work under immediate supervision, following established processes and guidelines.
- Experience in tech or Fortune 500 environments, or agency recruiting experience that translates well to high-demand corporate settings.
- Experience in both corporate and agency recruiting environments is highly valued.
- Experience in technical sourcing for corporate technology roles is preferred.
- Familiarity with advanced internal AI tools and recruiting technologies is beneficial.
- Experience working in fast-paced, data-driven, goal-oriented recruiting teams.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfort operating within an experimental or agile project structure and adapting quickly to shifting priorities.
- Prior experience as a recruiter within large, complex organizations is a plus.
- Demonstrated commitment to maintaining a high-quality candidate experience.
