About the Role
Clyde & Co is seeking an insurance coverage attorney with experience handling property coverage matters to join our growing practice. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, and possesses exceptional research and writing skills.
Responsibilities
- Analyze insurance policies and claim material, draft coverage opinions, and provide recommendations for clients
- Prepare correspondence to colleagues and clients
- Analyze documents for litigation
- Conduct legal research using Westlaw
- Prepare and respond to written discovery
- Draft pleadings and briefs
- Conduct and defend depositions
- Attend and advocate at hearings and mediations
Requirements
- Admitted to practice law; California bar admission strongly preferred
- Insurance coverage experience
- Excellent academic credentials and/or solid work history
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
- Interpersonal, leadership, and mentoring skills
- Ability to handle matters of a highly sensitive nature
- Ability to handle time sensitive matters
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to identify and resolve problems quickly

- Associate: $160,000 – $190,000
- Senior Associate: $185,000 – $225,000
- Senior Counsel: $220,000 – $260,000
