About the Role
As a Claims Assessor, you will manage a portfolio of life insurance claims from assessment through to decision. You will review information, ask thoughtful questions, work with a range of stakeholders, and make fair, well-reasoned decisions that help customers move forward.
Responsibilities
- Assess and manage life insurance claims from lodgement through to decision.
- Analyze medical, financial and claim information to understand each customer’s circumstances.
- Make balanced, timely decisions using evidence, policy terms and regulatory requirements.
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with customers, advisers, medical providers and internal teams.
- Build trusted relationships that support fair, customer-focused outcomes.
- Keep customers and stakeholders informed throughout the claims journey.
- Contribute ideas that improve processes, reduce friction and strengthen the customer experience.
