About the Role

This role oversees transactional accounting processes, including procurement-to-payment, direct goods receipts, and order-to-cash cycles. The position focuses on optimizing accounting systems, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving process improvements while collaborating with internal departments and international finance teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations for indirect vendor invoice processing and employee expense claims.
• Manage customer invoice issuance, monitor account aging, and handle collections.
• Verify customer credit limits and payment terms.
• Conduct monthly accounting closing processes, including revenue cutoff and inventory cost recognition.
• Review direct purchasing invoices and monitor intercompany balances.
• Supervise and mentor the accounting team to foster a high-performance environment.
• Serve as the primary contact for transactional accounting inquiries.
• Support internal and external audit requirements.
• Maintain and update accounting manuals and processes for efficiency and compliance.
• Manage ERP system and accounting process improvement projects.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of professional accounting experience in international companies.
• Previous supervisory or people management experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office and major ERP systems like SAP or Oracle.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent.
• Business level English proficiency (written and verbal).
• Experience in consumer business or the golf industry is preferred.
• Professional designations such as US CPA or J CPA are preferred.
• Experience with Oracle EBS is preferred.
• Experience in major IT system implementation or process improvement projects is preferred.
