About the Role
We’re looking for a passionate Team Leader to manage Supported Independent Living (SIL) services in Mount Colah. You’ll lead a team of dedicated direct support professionals, ensuring high quality person-centred care that empowers clients to thrive.
Responsibilities
- Coaching and mentoring staff to enhance performance and engagement.
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of SIL sites.
- Ensuring homes are safe, welcoming, and compliant.
- Coordinating support and liaising with key stakeholders including families, support coordinators, local hospital and allied health.
- Ensuring documentation is accurate and aligned with policy and system requirements.
- Participating in behaviour support planning and restrictive practices where required.
- Coordinating rosters, leave and recruitment with HR and Scheduling teams.
Requirements
- 2-3 years leadership experience in the disability sector.
- Willingness to participate in flexible working hours including on call, evenings, weekends and public holidays.
- Energetic, compassionate, and emotionally resilient.
- Excellent organisational, communication and coaching skills.
- Hold a valid NSW Driver’s Licence (P2/full) and are confident driving Unisson vehicles.
