About the Role
You will own the content marketing function, transforming subject matter expertise into a high-volume, high-quality content engine. This writer-first role involves researching, interviewing internal experts, and managing the editorial calendar to produce blog posts, guides, case studies, and other marketing materials for a technical, regulated audience.
Responsibilities
- Own the editorial calendar from planning and production to publication and reporting
- Write long-form blog posts, guides, case studies, email copy, social posts, and web copy
- Interview internal experts including founders, compliance specialists, and product leads
- Build an intake process for marketing content requests
- Enforce a high quality bar for a technical, regulated audience
- Leverage AI tools to accelerate production while maintaining quality standards
- Repurpose flagship content across multiple formats and channels
- Report on content performance monthly and optimize the strategy
Requirements
- 4-7 years of experience in content marketing
- Experience at a B2B SaaS company, preferably in fintech, regtech, or security
- Exceptional writing skills with the ability to provide samples
- Proven track record of high-volume content production
- Ability to understand and write about dense subject matter like financial crime and lending regulations
- Self-directed work style with experience operating as a primary content lead
- Working knowledge of SEO fundamentals, content analytics, and modern content tooling
