About the Role
Freestone Property Group is seeking a motivated and energetic Leasing Real Estate Agent to join their team in Brooklyn. This role focuses on showing apartments, building relationships with prospective renters, and closing rental transactions within a large portfolio of over 1,500 units. The company emphasizes technology and provides company-generated leads, eliminating the need for cold prospecting.
Responsibilities
- Show apartments and conduct property tours throughout Brooklyn
- Build relationships with prospective renters and guide them through the leasing process
- Follow up with leads using our CRM
- Negotiate lease terms and successfully close rental transactions
- Coordinate with property management and maintenance teams to ensure an exceptional customer experience
- Stay informed on Brooklyn rental market trends and pricing
- Maintain accurate activity and pipeline reporting
Requirements
- Active New York Real Estate Salesperson License (Required)
- 1-3 years of leasing or residential brokerage experience preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Excellent negotiation and closing abilities
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
- Familiarity with the Brooklyn rental market is a plus
