About the Role
Provide high-quality, person-centered support to people with disabilities, empowering clients to live independently, achieve their goals, and enhance their wellbeing, dignity, and quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Support clients with daily living needs such as cooking and mealtimes.
- Assist with cleaning and general household tasks.
- Provide personal care to clients in a respectful and dignified manner.
- Administer medication.
- Support clients with manual handling and the use of specialized equipment.
- Document and monitor client wellbeing.
- Collaborate with other staff to maintain a supportive team environment.
Requirements
- Commitment to person-centred care
- Current NSW Driver's Licence (minimum P2)
- Ability to meet the inherent physical requirements of the role
- Willingness to work a rotating roster
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working With Children Check
- First Aid & CPR
