About the Role
Performs a wide range of functional and administrative support to an executive member, their management team, and staff within the Learning, Talent, and Organizational Development (LTOD) department. This role involves executing routine tasks with some deviation from standard practice under general supervision.
Responsibilities
- Manages complex calendars and coordinates meetings and speaking engagements with relevant stakeholders.
- Drafts and edits routine correspondence, reports, and forms, and handles incoming and outgoing correspondence.
- Prepares executive-level presentation materials, meeting minutes, status updates, and action items for internal and external meetings.
- Makes travel arrangements, prepares itineraries, and processes travel expense reports.
- Creates, runs, and maintains various reports, including technology roadmap updates, and performs mid-level data analysis.
- Supports the Human Resources leadership team with agendas, team meetings, and on-site activities and programs.
- Collaborates with management to identify improvements to administrative processes and best practices for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Demonstrates FINRA’s values and collaborates to further FINRA’s mission of investor protection and market integrity.
Requirements
- High school diploma and a minimum of eight (8) years of related administrative or operational experience.
- Experience providing administrative or operational support to a senior executive.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications and desktop applications, with the ability to navigate multiple applications and systems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Ability to accurately facilitate the timely execution of assignments.
- Ability to work with sensitive and confidential information.
- Ability to multi-task and work independently.
- Must execute FINRA’s Employee Confidentiality and Invention Assignment Agreement without qualification or modification.
- Must comply with the company’s policy on nepotism.
- Must comply with FINRA’s Code of Conduct regarding investments and financial disclosures, including disclosing all brokerage accounts and authorizing duplicate statements.
- Must dispose of any security issued by a company on FINRA’s Prohibited Company List or obtain a written waiver by the start date.
- Must maintain securities accounts at firms that provide an electronic feed (e-feed) to FINRA and move accounts within three months of employment if necessary.

- CO/FL/TX: Minimum Hourly Rate $30.22, Maximum Hourly Rate $53.57
- IL/PA: Minimum Hourly Rate $33.42, Maximum Hourly Rate $58.90
- MA/MD/VA/Washington, DC: Minimum Hourly Rate $34.75, Maximum Hourly Rate $61.50
- NY/NJ: Minimum Hourly Rate $34.75, Maximum Hourly Rate $64.27
