About the Role
The People Partner is responsible for general human resources administration, including employee relations, record keeping, and responding to employee inquiries to ensure efficient HR Operations management. This role is integral to maintaining a positive work environment, supporting employee needs, and ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Assist in coaching, counseling, and guiding managers before executing employee disciplinary actions.
- Serve as the initial point of contact for employee concerns and may conduct investigations.
- Answer frequently asked questions regarding standard policies, procedures, and benefits, referring complex issues to appropriate team members.
- Review, resolve, and respond to inquiries submitted through the HR ticketing system.
- Process employee changes such as promotions, transfers, and terminations, ensuring HRIS data accuracy.
- Support the People Operations team with organizational tasks and administrative duties.
- Oversee various stages of the Employee Lifecycle.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of experience in HR or administrative roles.
- Previous experience in Employee Relations required.
- Experience supporting a contact center or large hourly population is preferred.
- Organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Experience working with a human resource information system (HRIS).
- Experience with Workday is a plus.
- Experience with Change Management and/or large scale transformation activities.
- Experience within a Center of Excellence model.
- Detail-oriented with good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, establish priorities, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to present information and respond to questions from various stakeholders.
- Ability to address issues with discretion and professionalism while maintaining confidentiality.
