About the Role

This position partners with the Store Director to lead a specific store, focusing on building and retaining a high-performing team, driving sales and operational goals, and ensuring excellent guest service and merchandise presentation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead store operations in partnership with the Store Director.
  • Build and retain a high-performing and diverse workforce.
  • Communicate and inspire the store team with the company's vision and strategy.
  • Lead the store team to meet net income, sales, and per cap goals.
  • Ensure execution, coaching, and accountability for all objectives.
  • Oversee guest service and merchandise presentation.
  • Maintain good relations with partners and build relationships throughout the partnership.
  • Communicate clear expectations and hold team members accountable.
  • Recruit talent.
  • Identify, develop, and leverage existing talent.
  • Drive talent development through training and communication.
  • Maximize team and individual performance.
  • Motivate, retain, and stabilize the team through reward and recognition.
  • Develop an exit strategy for underperforming team members.
  • Recognize and reward behaviors aligned with core values.
  • Resolve HR/guest service issues.
  • Build strong relationships with team members to support business results.
  • Pursue opportunities for self-development.
  • Create a learning environment by modeling core values.
  • Foster partner and SSC team member relationships.
  • Achieve store's sales, per cap, and net income budget.
  • Achieve store's payroll rate, inventory goal, and expense targets.
  • Maintain initiatives within budgeted guidelines.
  • Reduce expenses for maximum sales productivity.
  • Collaborate to identify trends, resolve issues, and drive store strategies to meet shrink goals.
  • Pass all Loss Prevention audits.
  • Collaborate to optimize payroll utilization.
  • Utilize reports to analyze business trends and make decisions.
  • Work assigned schedule.
  • Execute short and long-term business goals.
  • Communicate and drive strategic direction.
  • Utilize planning pyramid to coordinate goals.
  • Provide a consistent guest experience.
  • Maintain visual presentation directives.
  • Champion all company initiatives.
  • Respond and react to communication in a timely manner.
  • Perform non-revenue generating tasks.
  • Ensure all team members exceed guest service standards.
  • Influence growth strategies by sharing insights.
  • Develop and maintain a strong alliance with partners.
  • Ensure a clean, organized, and safe environment for guests.
  • Participate in regional philanthropic activities.

Requirements

  • Must be able to stand; walk and use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
  • Must be able to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Must frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
