About the Role
Schneider Electric is seeking a Product Owner to lead the definition, prioritization, and delivery of digital applications within our Sustainability Business. This role involves partnering with business and technical teams to translate strategy into executable work, leveraging AI-enabled tools to accelerate innovation, and ensuring operational stability for high-impact enterprise solutions.
Responsibilities
- Define, prioritize, and deliver product capabilities for assigned digital applications.
- Serve as the primary point of accountability for product priorities and delivery coordination.
- Partner with business stakeholders to influence roadmap direction and translate strategy into executable work.
- Manage stakeholder engagement to maintain alignment on priorities, scope, and delivery.
- Translate business needs and workflow gaps into clear requirements and actionable work.
- Collaborate with engineers, developers, analysts, and vendors to move work from definition to delivery.
- Maintain a clear backlog sequenced by business value, dependencies, and operational need.
- Drive tradeoff discussions regarding scope, sequencing, and solution direction.
- Define acceptance criteria, validation needs, and release readiness expectations.
- Support operational stability by triaging issues and monitoring product performance.
- Navigate ambiguous problem spaces to surface gaps, risks, and dependencies.
- Utilize AI-enabled tools to accelerate documentation, analysis, and preparation.
- Continuously improve product workflows and documentation to enhance execution speed.
Requirements
- Three to five years of experience in product ownership, application ownership, or business analysis.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize competing demands and make tradeoff recommendations.
- Experience coordinating with technical teams, vendors, or delivery partners.
- Ability to work in ambiguous environments with clarity and speed.
- Strong written communication skills for roadmaps, requirements, and documentation.
- Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Cursor.
- Familiarity with Agile or iterative delivery methods.
- Experience in enterprise software or workflow-heavy environments preferred.
