About the Role

As a Financial Consultant I, you will provide expert investment advisory services through our call center to a diverse client base, including direct-to-consumer prospects, retail investment account holders, and employer-sponsored retirement plan participants. You will serve as a trusted advisor, simplifying complex financial concepts to help clients build financial security and make informed decisions.

Responsibilities

• Provide benefit event education to former participants and account holders regarding investment and risk-based needs.
• Facilitate transactions and coordinate with specialized teams to support customer goals and asset retention.
• Conduct consultative conversations to assess financial objectives, risk tolerance, and time horizons.
• Recommend tailored investment solutions based on client goals and best interests.
• Communicate complex financial concepts clearly to build trust and informed decision-making.
• Use active listening and emotional intelligence to understand customer needs and build strong relationships.
• Maintain accurate documentation of customer interactions and ensure secure handling of data.
• Adhere to compliance and risk management standards, including regulatory training and licensing.
• Manage client pipelines and application follow-up.
• Expand market and product knowledge, adopt new tools, and support business objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience, preferably in the financial services industry.
• Ability to obtain approval as a registered representative across all 50 states and Washington, D.C.
• SIE and Series 7 licenses.
• Series 66 license, OR both Series 63 and Series 65 licenses.
• Must be able to work an assigned eight-hour shift between 7:00 AM and 9:00 PM CT, Monday–Friday.
• Must not require immigration sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must follow an Investment Code of Ethics regarding personal and business conduct and trading activities.
