About the Role

This Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning Engineer role provides specialized expertise to support critical, enterprise-level AI initiatives. The engineer will supplement existing technology teams to meet accelerated delivery timelines across multiple major objectives, including enterprise search enhancement, AI agent development, system monitoring, and the establishment of robust AI governance frameworks.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and deploy components of an enterprise search solution to improve information retrieval across organizational systems.
  • Develop, operationalize, and test various AI agents designed to improve internal efficiency and user-facing services.
  • Ensure AI agent implementations are closely aligned with business unit needs and operational goals.
  • Support the configuration, deployment, and documentation of enterprise AI inventory and monitoring systems.
  • Track system performance and ensure accurate inventory management of AI assets across the organization.
  • Establish, enforce, and develop technical controls for AI governance and ethical use.
  • Ensure all AI initiatives strictly comply with cybersecurity, data privacy, and overarching technology policies.
  • Create comprehensive documentation and establish processes required for broad organizational AI governance adoption.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience building and deploying components for enterprise search tools.
  • 1+ year of experience configuring, rolling out, and documenting AI inventory and monitoring systems.
  • 1+ year of experience supporting the implementation and testing of AI agents tailored to specific business workflows.
  • 1+ year of experience developing technical controls, documentation, and processes for AI governance frameworks.

Skills

  • Foundational knowledge of modern AI/ML frameworks, natural language processing (NLP), and prompt engineering.
  • Familiarity with enterprise-level cybersecurity, risk management, and data privacy standards.
  • Hands-on experience with Python and enterprise cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Strong understanding of AI governance, security, and compliance practices.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in fast-paced, cross-functional environments to meet accelerated project timelines.
  • Excellent technical writing and documentation skills, particularly for system rollouts and compliance controls.
  • Clear communication skills to effectively bridge technical AI capabilities with business requirements.
