About the Role

Index Exchange is seeking a Senior Account Manager to support strategic buyer-side partners, drive long-term growth, platform adoption, and build strong partner relationships within the programmatic advertising ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the day-to-day contact for a portfolio of strategic buyer-side partners, delivering exceptional service and leveraging expertise of the Index platform.
  • Provide proactive insights and recommendations to partners to help solve problems through a data-centric approach.
  • Partner with internal teams to support growth opportunities and identify ways to strengthen existing relationships.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and support new deal opportunities, while ensuring the health and growth of existing partnerships.
  • Develop a strong understanding of buyer priorities, campaign performance, and the broader programmatic landscape to provide strategic recommendations and support partner growth.
  • Attend relevant industry events and support relationship-building initiatives that foster long-term strategic growth.

Requirements

  • 6–8 years of experience in digital media, including 4+ years in a client-facing role.
  • Strong understanding of the programmatic advertising landscape (e.g. ad server, ad network, exchange, SSP, DSP, agency trading desk, PMP, etc.).
  • Experience supporting buyer-side relationships within the digital advertising or programmatic ecosystem is preferred.
  • Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to leverage data and analytics to solve customer problems.
  • Demonstrable experience building strong customer relationships, understanding partner needs, and identifying solutions to support growth.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present clearly and concisely both internally and externally.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently while remaining proactive, organized, and self-motivated.
  • Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office programs is required.
  • Experience with DOMO, Looker, Tableau, or similar analytical tools is considered an asset.
