About the Role
The Warehouse Associate performs essential day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, packing, and preparing orders for shipment across all product lines. This hands-on role is crucial for ensuring timely fulfillment and supporting the logistics team in meeting daily production and shipping demands.
Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently unload (devan) incoming shipping containers, and inspect and stage goods for receipt.
- Receive and inspect incoming goods and verify them against accompanying documentation.
- Box, pack, label, and palletize finished goods and orders for shipment.
- Pick, stage, and prepare orders accurately for outbound shipment.
- Load and unload trailers, containers, and delivery vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Move and put away materials and finished goods using pallet jacks, forklifts (as applicable), and other equipment.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and operationally efficient, following 5S and housekeeping standards.
- Support compliance with all company safety policies and procedures.
- Follow safe material handling, loading, unloading, and warehouse practices.
- Assist in maintaining operational quality standards.
- Identify and communicate safety concerns, damage, and issues to the appropriate lead or manager.
- Support audits, inspections, and operational compliance initiatives as required.
- Identify and suggest opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and safety.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to perform hands-on warehouse tasks, including boxing, loading, and devanning, across all product lines.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling and documentation.
- Ability to follow instructions, standard operating procedures, and safety requirements.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly.
- Reliability and commitment to a consistent, fully on-site schedule.
- Ability to work on-site in a manufacturing and warehouse environment throughout the full shift, including standing and being on your feet for extended periods consistent with warehouse and manufacturing industry standards.
- Ability to move throughout the warehouse and production floor as required by daily operational and coordination activities.
- Ability to lift and handle materials as needed within the warehouse environment, including lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Ability to perform the physical demands of warehouse work, such as loading and unloading trailers, containers, and delivery vehicles, and repetitive bending, reaching, lifting, and moving goods.
Skills
- Forklift certification or the ability to obtain certification
- Experience in a manufacturing, assembly, or production warehouse environment
- Prior experience using RF scanners or warehouse or ERP systems
- Familiarity with 5S or continuous improvement practices
- NetSuite ERP
