About the Role
Join our Food and Beverage Department as a Counter Server/Cashier, where you will deliver exceptional guest service by warmly welcoming guests, efficiently processing orders, and handling payments at The Opals Confectionary Outlet.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate exceptional guest service skills when selling Beverage and pastry items to either guests or employees.
- Continually operate cash register or cash bank and accept payment for F&B product(s) ensuring accuracy when making change.
- Be responsive to guest’s questions regarding food items, prices, methods of preparation.
- Continually up-sell F&B products offered.
- Always ensure that assigned area is kept orderly and continually clean and sanitize counter in designated areas, as well as assisting in the dining area as needed.
Requirements
- The ability to count money and make correct change.
- Have excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Demonstrate the ability to complete multiple tasks at once.
- Must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.
