About the Role

Cardless is a Series C consumer fintech that makes it easy for the world's largest brands to build credit cards into their ecosystems. Brands use Cardless to configure, launch, and grow credit card programs that delight their customers and strengthen their core business. This role sits at the center of every launch, which are the moments the whole company organizes around.

Responsibilities

  • Own the launch plan for new brand programs from signed deals to cards in wallets, including timeline, dependencies, DRIs, and the single source of truth.
  • Manage and execute the launch process and associated trackers daily, including standups, partner syncs, and executive updates.
  • Identify and resolve blockers, escalating with proposed solutions when necessary.
  • Learn and track how each function contributes to a launch, including credit policy, program configuration, rewards, funding, compliance, fraud controls, servicing, and fulfillment.
  • Identify and address critical details that could cause launches to fail, such as unreviewed disclosures or untested cases.
  • Act as the launch-facing point of contact for brand partner teams and manage the shared plan.
  • Coordinate deliverables across issuing banks, card networks, processors, and vendors.
  • Ensure external parties adhere to agreed-upon timelines.

Requirements

  • 2–6 years in roles managing complex cross-functional work (launch/program management, operations, consulting, banking, or startup operations).
  • Experience running at least one project where five or more parties had to deliver on the same date, with accountability for the entire project.
  • Exposure to fintech, payments, or financial services terminology.
  • Curiosity to become knowledgeable in underwriting, compliance, and card fulfillment.

Skills

  • Extreme detail orientation
  • Ability to read and notice discrepancies in data and timelines
  • Comfortable across functions, able to follow and explain technical and compliance conversations
  • Calmness under pressure during launch critical periods
  • Ability to re-plan and communicate changes effectively
