About the Role

As an Associate Marketing Manager, Sales Enablement, you will work closely with business partners to influence how Canada Life’s brand, value proposition, and solutions are positioned within the industry. You will play a key role in creating compelling marketing strategies, presentations, and content, contributing to strategic presentations, executive communications, creative writing, event support, and select Request for Proposal (RFP) and Finalist activities. Success requires strong communication skills, comfort in presenting, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. This role blends strategy, creativity, and execution to elevate Canada Life’s reputation, build engagement with clients and prospects, and support teams with marketing that drives real impact.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure messaging is clear, inclusive, and aligned with Canada Life’s brand and value proposition.
  • Apply critical thinking to assess challenges and recommend strategic marketing solutions.
  • Provide storytelling and creative writing support for a variety of health, wealth, and retirement solutions initiatives.
  • Support RFP and Finalist efforts by maintaining content libraries, refining tailored messaging, and contributing to high-impact submissions.
  • Partner with senior leaders and sales teams to deliver marketing support that enables business growth.
  • Manage project timelines, expectations, and competing priorities with strong organization and attention to detail.
  • Confidently present ideas, recommendations, and materials to stakeholders and contribute to large group discussions and working sessions.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of marketing or communications experience.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt quickly to shifting timelines and business needs.
  • Experience working with and influencing diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Exceptional writing capabilities with a sharp attention for detail.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Understanding of group benefits plans, group retirement plans, creditors, or financial institutions product and services considered an asset.
  • Experience supporting clients or client-facing initiatives is an asset.
