About the Role

Fi is seeking a Social Media Manager to own the day-to-day creation, planning, and publishing of content across Fi's social channels. This is a creative, hands-on role focused on producing and editing content, strategizing, and driving growth through increased reach and engagement. The goal is to help pet parents keep their pets happy, healthy, and safe.

Responsibilities

  • Create native, platform-first content (video, photo, copy) that taps into real-time trends and culture.
  • Shoot and edit video yourself, from concept to final cut, for fast-turnaround, native-feeling posts.
  • Build branded content series alongside the Brand Creative team that drive engagement, build brand recognition and distinguish Fi's voice.
  • Plan and execute seasonal programming, launch campaigns, and recurring brand franchises.
  • Own the publishing calendar and content pipeline across all social channels.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Community, Paid Media, PR, and Creative to align messaging and repurpose assets.
  • Surface and amplify UGC, partnerships, fan moments, and creator opportunities, and help activate the Ambassador Program.
  • Track platform trends, algorithm shifts, sounds, and cultural moments, and move fast to capitalize.
  • Report on engagement, growth, and reach, and turn data into real recommendations.
  • Manage freelancers and vendors supporting content production.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of social media experience, ideally in-house at a consumer/DTC brand or agency supporting one.
  • Strong hands-on content creation skills, including shooting and editing video yourself.
  • Deep, current expertise across Instagram, TikTok, X, Reddit, and YouTube, including platform-specific formats and audience behavior.
  • Sharp copywriting and storytelling instincts, with the range to flex tone across platforms while keeping one consistent brand voice.
  • Comfort pulling and interpreting analytics to inform content decisions.
  • A track record collaborating closely with Community, PR, Paid Media, or Creative teams.
  • Elite organization skills and the ability to juggle multiple content streams and deadlines at once.
  • A genuine finger on the pulse of internet culture and pet content trends.
  • Hands-on fluency with tools like Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, Sprout Social, or Meta Business Suite.
