About the Role

This role is a forward-deployed position focused on analytics and AI. You will be responsible for securing technical wins with prospects and partners, embedding in customer deployments to drive adoption, and acting as a public voice for the company by sharing insights with the data community through various content formats.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical evaluation with prospects and partners, including demos and proofs of concept.
• Model customer data in the platform and build initial analyses to drive genuine adoption.
• Share learnings with the wider data community through talks, videos, and how-to guides.
• Collaborate with product teams to communicate new releases and features.
• Build discovery-driven demos and proofs of concept against real customer data.
• Manage embedded engagements to ensure successful modeling, deployment, and adoption.
• Act as a liaison between customers and product/engineering teams, relaying feedback and roadmap information.
• Create content such as blog posts, training videos, and worked examples.
• Represent the company in webinars, community threads, and meetups.
• Develop foundational elements for the forward deployed function, including demo environments and POC playbooks.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience in solutions engineering, sales engineering, analytics engineering, or a similar technical field role with ownership of technical wins.
• Fluency with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery) and the modern data stack (dbt, semantic layers, analytics engineering workflow).
• Strong SQL skills and a solid understanding of how analytics are built, governed, and managed within a company.
• A visible instinct to teach and share, with a genuine desire to build a public voice.
• Comfort with pre-GA ambiguity and a drive to build a function from scratch.
• Existing following or content footprint in the data community (nice to have).
• Background at a BI or analytics vendor, or hands-on experience as an analyst or analytics engineer (nice to have).
• Experience with a forward deployed or embedded delivery model at an early-stage company (nice to have).
