About the Role
We are looking for smart, creative, dynamic instructors from all backgrounds to teach LEGO classes and camps where students are introduced to a range of STEM concepts while being given the tools to unlock their creativity and their problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Manages each class session, ensuring the children are safe, engaged, and having fun.
- Communicates with parents and clients in a knowledgeable, respectful and tactful manner to address questions or concerns.
- Adheres to all Play-Well and facility safety procedures and procedures for supervision and release of children.
- Care, safekeeping, and upkeep of assigned LEGO teaching kit(s).
- Responds quickly to communications from management, whether by phone, text, email or mail.
- Regularly communicates with Area Manager with questions, concerns and updates.
Requirements
- Serves as a representative of Play-Well in a positive and professional manner.
- Completes all training programs as required by the Area Manager.
- Understands the curriculum and concepts thoroughly to be able to provide value to participants with diverse abilities and interests.
- Reliable transportation a must; secure location to store teaching materials.
- Lift up to 40 lbs to store and transport materials; bending, stooping and crawling with children during class instruction.
- Must pass all background checks as a condition of employment.

- $23.50 - $28.50 Hourly
