About the Role
This position is a member of the Human Resources Recruitment and HR team, supporting talent acquisition initiatives across all locations. The role is involved in full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, screening, phone interviewing, onboarding, and building strong candidate pipelines. This position strongly partners with hiring managers and leadership teams to understand workforce needs, develop effective recruiting strategies, and fill positions efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Review applicants to evaluate if they meet the position requirements.
- Pre-screen candidates as requested by Company managers.
- Forward qualified candidates to managers.
- Communicate with managers regularly regarding quality of candidates and effectiveness of recruiting methods.
- Partner with the Recruitment Team to develop and maintain an online recruiting presence using a diverse mix of recruiting tools and websites.
- Partner with the Talent Acquisition Manager to develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need.
- Research and recommend new sources for recruiting.
- Identify vacancies for assigned branches/departments and partner with Branch Leadership, Recruitment Team, and Talent Acquisition Manager for recommendations to implement the best recruitment approach.
- Post open positions internally, in print advertisements, with professional organizations, and in other position-appropriate resources.
- Assist in analyzing and documenting successful recruiting resources.
- Respond to inquiries from prospective candidates and send appropriate correspondence in a timely manner.
- Schedule interviews with managers and assist in interviewing and selecting employees.
- Assist in the maintenance of an application database/tracking system that retains and organizes applications/resumes for one year.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local colleges/universities, unemployment offices, etc.
- Set up informational booths at local colleges.
- Attend job fairs as well as organize and lead on-site job fairs.
- Check in with new hires throughout their first week, month, bi-annually, and annually to ensure everything is going smoothly.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- A minimum of two years' recruiting or talent acquisition experience.
- Experience working on items requiring a strong need for accuracy.
- Strong personal relationship skills.
- Highly organized and able to manage time, projects, and deadlines well.
