About the Role

L3Harris is seeking a Software Engineer to develop software applications, including simulators, emulators, and automation software, to validate end-user requirements. The role involves authoring documents, integrating system software on hardware, and collaborating with systems engineers and other software/hardware engineers.

Responsibilities

  • Develop software applications that replicate real-world scenarios to validate software meets end-user requirements.
  • Author documents and work in the lab integrating system software.
  • Integrate software on various hardware platforms.
  • Collaborate with other software and hardware engineers to identify deficiencies.
  • Ensure the team adheres to contractual requirements, meets cost and schedule constraints, and achieves functional and business objectives.
  • Oversee the development of software integration and test solutions for communications technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive synergy and streamline processes.
  • Evaluate technical and programmatic data to make decisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience, OR Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience, OR minimum of 8 years of prior related experience in lieu of a degree.
