About the Role

This role serves as a critical bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams, analyzing legacy systems to identify inefficiencies and translating business needs into actionable technical solutions. The objective is to improve and meet program goals, ensuring the solution is implemented to stakeholder satisfaction until the project's end.

Responsibilities

• Act as the critical bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams.
• Analyze current legacy systems and identify inefficiencies.
• Translate business needs into actionable, technical solutions.
• Work with the program to document requirements for vendor selection.
• Meet with stakeholders through interviews, workshops, and surveys to discover business needs.
• Translate abstract ideas into structured Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and Functional Requirement Documents (FRD).
• Create use cases to visually map current vs future state.
• Negotiate requirement trade-offs and manage expectations regarding project timelines and costs.
• Participate in the testing phase by creating test cases and ensuring the final product meets original requirements.
• Serve as the central point of contact between users, technical teams, and stakeholders.
• Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs.
• Formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies.
• Experienced with business process reengineering and identifying new applications of technology to business problems.
• Familiar with industry standard business process mapping and reengineering.
• Prepares solution options, risk identification, and financial analyses.
• Writes detailed descriptions of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs.

Requirements

• 8 or more years of experience.
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Independently performs a variety of complicated tasks.
• A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
• Minimum 5 years of experience serving as a liaison between the Business community and Customer IT Teams.
• Strong experience as a Data Analyst in analyzing raw data.
• Strong experience as a Business Analyst in requirements gathering.
• Understanding of technology.
• Project management experience with PMP is a huge plus.
