About the Role
Service Technicians provide mechanical repairs to washers and dryers at customer locations within their assigned region, ensuring machines run smoothly to meet customer expectations.
Responsibilities
- Service washers and dryers at apartments, laundromats, hotels, athletic facilities, etc.
- Disassemble machines and examine mechanical and electrical parts
- Reassemble appliances, adjust pulleys, and lubricate moving parts
- Replace worn or defective parts and adjust motors
- Clean and wash parts
- Advise dispatch department of equipment that should be replaced with new equipment
- Drive a company vehicle to and from work locations
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Good driving record
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
- Must possess effective English communication skills (oral and written)
- At least 2 years of mechanical experience and electrical knowledge and/or training
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Must be able to occasionally move 200 pounds or more with a dolly/hand truck
