About the Role
This job leads the Technical Operations team, aligning management and operations with strategic objectives. It encompasses ensuring compliance, staff development, budget oversight, and cross-departmental collaboration for technology and service excellence. The role is essential for maintaining high operational standards and fostering innovation.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical operations teams, ensuring effective management of productivity, quality, and staffing to meet operational goals.
- Oversee daily technical activities, including installation, service, construction, and materials management for company success.
- Maintain system compliance with NCTA, FCC regulations, and company operating standards.
- Develop and refine operational procedures and practices to enhance departmental performance.
- Ensure completion of all technical service and maintenance work, both scheduled and on-demand.
- Conduct performance reviews and reporting to ensure accountability and continuous improvement.
- Create training programs and quality guidelines to prepare staff for emerging technological advancements.
- Formulate and manage operational budgets, ensuring fiscal discipline and resource allocation align with strategic plans.
- Coordinate with other departments to address customer issues and integrate new technology solutions.
- Facilitate staff and system readiness for new technology demands by engaging in consistent deployment planning discussions.
- Exercise independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- Maintain consistent, regular attendance, including nights and weekends as necessary.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
- Cable/telecommunications experience highly preferred.
- Understand Operating Principles and use them as guidelines.
