About the Role

We are looking for a builder who can design scalable owned media strategies, challenge assumptions, test ideas, and step into execution when needed. This role involves leading the strategic vision and execution of REPUBLIC Collective's Owned & Operated Content Network.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategic vision and execution of REPUBLIC Collective's Owned & Operated Content Network, overseeing internal teams and third-party agency partners across various content destinations.
  • Develop and oversee content strategies to maximize audience growth, engagement, artist discovery, and cultural relevance, supporting label and artist marketing objectives.
  • Oversee content planning, publishing strategies, editorial calendars, and optimization efforts for consistent, high-quality execution across the Content Network.
  • Manage relationships with external content agencies and strategic partners, ensuring alignment with creative standards, performance goals, and business objectives.
  • Present strategic initiatives, performance insights, and growth opportunities to leadership and executive stakeholders.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the Owned & Operated Content Network, evaluating performance to identify optimization opportunities.
  • Build best practices, reporting frameworks, dashboards, and strategic recommendations informed by content performance, audience insights, and evolving digital trends.
  • Create cross-network programming strategies to leverage audiences across channels for campaign amplification and sound adoption.
  • Partner cross-functionally with various teams to maximize the effectiveness of the Content Network and share performance learnings.
  • Identify emerging social platforms, content formats, publishing strategies, and audience behaviors for new opportunities in artist discovery and content distribution.

Requirements

  • 4-6+ years of experience in content strategy, audience development, digital publishing, social media, entertainment marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience building and scaling owned social media ecosystems, content networks, or audience-first digital brands.
  • Strong understanding of social platform algorithms, audience growth strategies, and digital content optimization across major platforms.
  • Proficiency with content creation, video editing, and photo editing software.
  • Experience with AI content creation platforms and tools.
  • Ability to develop KPI frameworks and analyze content performance, audience engagement, reach, retention, and growth metrics.
  • Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and project management skills.
  • Experience managing agency relationships and collaborating across multiple internal stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with social tracking platforms such as CreatorCore, Co-Brand etc.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, artist-driven environment.
  • Passion for music, internet culture, fan communities, and digital storytelling.

  • $63,010-$145,000
