About the Role
Morgan Properties is hiring an Assistant Service Manager to help lead the maintenance team at High Acres, providing a clear path toward becoming a Service Manager. This role is for individuals with a "Whatever It Takes" attitude and strong HVAC, electrical, and plumbing skills, offering investment in development.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor the team in diagnosing problems and making quality repairs.
- Bring expert troubleshooting across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, appliance, and preventative maintenance.
- Partner with the Service Manager on day-to-day operations with a team-first mindset.
- Build and manage the on-call, preventative, make-ready, and work-order schedules.
- Inspect community buildings (including vacant units) and support sister communities.
Requirements
- Active, valid driver's license and personal vehicle
- HVAC certification required or willingness to earn it
- 2–4 years of related maintenance experience, a one-year certificate, or equivalent
