About the Role
Century Garage Door Service is seeking motivated professionals skilled with tools and confident in customer communication to diagnose, repair, and install garage doors and openers. This role involves educating homeowners, recommending solutions, and building trust to ensure exceptional customer experiences.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and install residential and commercial garage doors and openers.
- Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections.
- Educate customers on repair and replacement options.
- Recommend products and services that best fit each customer's needs.
- Prepare accurate estimates and professionally present solutions.
- Build trust with customers while delivering an outstanding service experience.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
- Represent Century Garage Door Service with professionalism and integrity on every service call.
Requirements
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Sales experience preferred, with the ability to confidently educate customers and recommend the right products and services.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to build trust and create a positive customer experience.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and a desire to maximize earnings.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
- Garage door experience is preferred, but candidates with experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, construction, automotive repair, appliance repair, or other mechanical trades are welcome.
