About the Role
We are looking for an experienced hospitality professional to join our front of house team and deliver exceptional experiences for members and guests. This varied role combines front-of-house service at our all-day dining restaurant with event support, contributing to the warm, welcoming atmosphere The Arding Rooms is known for.
Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, attentive, and professional service to members and guests.
- Take food and drink orders and serve confidently across restaurant, bar, and event settings.
- Support the setup, delivery, and breakdown of private events and functions.
- Maintain high standards of presentation throughout the venue, including the roof terrace.
- Ensure all member and guest areas are beautifully presented and ready for service.
- Build positive relationships with members to ensure they feel welcomed and at ease.
Requirements
- Hospitality is part of your DNA.
- A positive, outgoing, upbeat approach is your default demeanor.
- Take pride in your presentation and communicate with warmth and kindness.
- A natural people person, you will get to know our members (and their dogs) by name.
- Keep your cool when things get bumpy, so guests are never aware.
- Can confidently adapt to working across the main restaurant, the roof terrace, and event space.
- Values flexibility and can work a range of weekday, evening, and weekend shifts.
- Enjoys being part of a supportive team who take great pride in everything they deliver.
- Must have the right to work in the UK.
