About the Role
As a Solutions Engineer, you will serve as the primary technical liaison between Sales, Partner Success, Product, and Marketing teams. Your focus will be on client engagement, driving go-to-market strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet the needs of publishers, fintechs, and banks. This involves orchestrating demonstrations, documenting best practices, and delivering tailored technical solutions. You will accelerate the adoption of Digital Marketplace Infrastructure as a client-facing member of the Revenue team, empowering regional and community banks, as well as credit unions, to thrive digitally.
Responsibilities
- Lead Solution Engineering role with Engine Sales, Partner Success, Product, and Marketing, as well as with ecosystem partners and clients.
- Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and develop technical solutions aligned with financial technology product capabilities.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients, showcasing technical features and benefits.
- Support technical onboarding with detailed account plans and customized technical specifications.
- Serve as a technical expert during sales meetings, addressing customer inquiries and providing insights into product solutions.
- Customize proofs of concept (POCs) to showcase client value proposition and potential ROI.
- Work closely with product development teams to provide feedback on customer requirements and contribute to product feature enhancements.
- Develop internal and external documentation on best practices and processes, primarily focusing on technical documentation for new products.
- Work with marketing to develop new product marketing materials for new GTM initiatives, including technical documentation and integration guides.
- Assist in preparing technical proposals, RFP responses, and compliance requests, ensuring alignment with customer needs, regulations, and technical specifications.
- Conduct training sessions for sales teams on product functionality, technical specifications, and competitive positioning.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to enhance product knowledge and sales effectiveness.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in a sales engineering or technical account management role, preferably with financial institutions, enterprise tech, or consulting firms.
- Strong project management skills to guide the sales and onboarding process between Engine, its channel partners, and end clients.
- Proficiency in presenting technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience creating and conducting product demonstrations and leading technical discussions with clients.
- Ability to understand customer requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
