About the Role

Midtown Endoscopy & Surgical Center is seeking an Endoscopy Technician to support the Gastroenterology team by assisting with room and patient preparation, instrument processing, and patient transport.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during endoscopic procedures.
• Prepare and set up procedure rooms with appropriate instruments and equipment.
• Perform cleaning, high-level disinfection (HLD), and reprocessing of endoscopes and accessories.
• Restock rooms, linens, and supplies.
• Assist with the collection and preparation of specimens for various lab analyses.
• Operate and maintain Automated Endoscope Preprocessors (AERs).
• Monitor and document scope tracking, reprocessing logs, and quality control checks.
• Assist with patient positioning and provide support before, during, and after procedures.
• Handle, label, and transport specimens to the appropriate lab.
• Perform routine safety checks and troubleshoot equipment issues.

Requirements

• Requires 2 years of experience as an Endoscopy Technician.
• Must be competent in reprocessing.
