About the Role
Floyd Harbor Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant who brings compassion, curiosity, teamwork, and a genuine passion for helping pets and the people who love them. Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians and technicians with patient care and medical procedures
- Safely restrain patients during examinations and treatments
- Prepare exam rooms and treatment areas for patient care
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient hospital environment
- Communicate professionally and compassionately with clients
- Support daily hospital operations and help maintain an efficient workflow
- Deliver exceptional care while creating positive experiences for every patient and client
- Collaborate with teammates to ensure outstanding service and patient care
Requirements
- Previous Veterinary Assistant experience preferred
- Compassion for animals and the people who love them
- A positive attitude and collaborative mindset
- Strong communication and client service skills
- A willingness to learn and continue growing professionally
- Reliability, initiative, and strong organizational skills
