About the Role
As a Technical Services Driver, you will play a hands-on role in the safe transport and handling of hazardous waste materials across multiple customer sites. This is not a sit-behind-the-wheel role — our drivers are active contributors to each job from start to finish, including loading and unloading, container labeling, waste sorting, and completion of regulatory paperwork.
Responsibilities
- Operate semi-vans, roll-off trailers, and dump trailers safely and in compliance with DOT regulations
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution and securement
- Accurately label containers and complete all required hazardous waste documentation
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle
- Communicate professionally with customers at each stop
- Adhere to all safety, environmental, and compliance standards
- Play a hands-on role in the safe transport and handling of hazardous waste materials
- Contribute to each job from start to finish, including loading and unloading, container labeling, waste sorting, and completion of regulatory paperwork
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of CDL driving experience
- Valid CDL Class A license
- Hazmat endorsement required
- High-school diploma or equivalent (required)
Work Type
- Guaranteed 40 hours per week
- Overtime is required
- Overnight travel expected approximately 2 times per month (1–2 nights per trip)
Education Level
- High-school diploma or equivalent
Salary/Compensations
- Starts at $30/hour
- CDL drivers with experience can earn more depending on experience
