About the Role

Clio is seeking a Director, Product Management to lead the development and evolution of its expanding product suite, particularly within the new Enterprise division. This role is crucial for driving the company's vision of providing a category-defining client proposition and enabling "untethered growth" for legal clients. The position involves being a key customer evangelist as Clio expands into North America.

Responsibilities

  • Craft and communicate a strategic vision that aligns with company goals, influencing multiple product roadmaps to drive meaningful outcomes.
  • Leverage deep product knowledge and market insights to anticipate shifts in customer needs, staying ahead of competitors and creating distinctive solutions.
  • Manage complex trade-offs to prioritize high-impact initiatives that align with business objectives as a key decision-maker on cross-functional projects.
  • Develop frameworks that empower the team to make data-informed product decisions and ensure a consistent, high-quality user experience.
  • Understand customer needs and devise solutions.
  • Oversee the entire product lifecycle from ideation to launch.
  • Use data and customer insights to track key metrics and performance indicators, identifying opportunities for product optimization and continuous improvement.
  • Guide the production of end-user, configurator, and developer-centric materials to assist partners, clients, and the Clio Enterprise community.
  • Work alongside prospects to build their confidence and inform their buying decisions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand and translate their business needs into the product roadmap.
  • Collaborate closely with key internal stakeholders, including other Clio product teams, to gather insights, feedback, and requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, ensuring alignment across departments and effective communication of product goals and milestones.

Requirements

  • Over 9 years of experience in product management roles within the tech industry, with a proven track record of managing and enhancing complex software products or platforms.
  • Experience designing & building technical products for volume usage.
  • AI is at the heart of your core work processes and the work processes you design for your customers.
  • Strong business and metrics focus.
  • Experience conducting user research, gathering feedback, and using data to inform product decisions that enhance the user experience.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate effectively with stakeholders across product, engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence others and drive product initiatives forward.
  • Entrepreneurial and ownership mentality.
  • Crystal clear communication skills to distill complex concepts for customers and the business.
