About the Role

As a Digital Consultant within the de:hub initiative, you will connect our hub with other hubs and initiatives in the digital ecosystem. You will guide collaborations from initial outreach through the development of joint formats to the successful implementation of projects. Your understanding of networks, partnerships, and project management will bring relevant players together and actively shape the development of the digital innovation ecosystem.

Responsibilities

You are responsible for the support and strategic consulting of one or more de:hubs and continuously develop their network.
You build and sustainably maintain partnerships with representatives from politics, associations, business, other de:hub locations, and external initiatives and ecosystem partners.
You organize and accompany networking events, workshops, and exchange formats – from content preparation and moderation to follow-ups and sustainable follow-up communication.
You take on partial project management for small and medium-sized projects within the de:hub initiative and manage them independently from conception to implementation.
You establish the necessary project infrastructure, plan resources, coordinate timings, structure meetings, and keep track of progress and evaluations at all times.
You develop briefings for internal and external project participants and partners and ensure smooth collaboration among all stakeholders.
You support the development of concepts, pitches, collaborations, and funding programs and actively contribute your ideas to new formats.
You represent the de:hub at events, trade fairs, and conferences and are prepared to travel within Germany and occasionally internationally for this purpose.

Requirements

You have several years of experience in project management, strategic consulting, or partner and network management – ideally in the digital innovation or startup ecosystem.
You know how to build partnerships, bring different stakeholders together, and successfully shape long-term collaborations.
You quickly familiarize yourself with new subject areas or already have experience in the core topics of the de:hubs.
You are strong in communication, approach people openly, and recognize potential for new collaborations and networks.
You have sound project management experience and coordinate projects and interdisciplinary teams in a structured and goal-oriented manner.
You think about networking holistically – from identifying relevant contacts and building relationships to the sustainable further development of partnerships.
You work in a structured, proactive, and self-reliant manner and are comfortable in a dynamic, digital work environment.
You enjoy trying new things, picking up on trends and developments in the digital ecosystem, and developing innovative formats together with others.
You bring team spirit, initiative, and the motivation to successfully implement projects together and develop them sustainably with your knowledge.
You are fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
You are willing to travel within Germany and occasionally internationally.
