About the Role

The Guest Service Associate provides exceptional hospitality services by parking and retrieving guest vehicles safely and assisting with luggage during arrival and departure, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience for all guests.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers, and clients
• Greet guests within five feet and use appropriate salutations
• Park and retrieve vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
• Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage
• Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
• Provide guests with information regarding facility amenities, local attractions, and directions
• Deliver messages, items, and guest amenities as requested
• Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests
• Issue claim checks and maintain accurate records of vehicle locations and damage surveys
• Calculate and collect parking revenue when required

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license for the state of employment or within a commutable distance
• One month of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to read and write standard English
• Ability to perform basic mathematical operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
• Ability to understand 24-hour and military time systems
• Ability to perform parallel parking
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally, 50 pounds frequently, and 20 pounds constantly
• Ability to work outdoors for extended periods in various weather conditions
