About the Role
The Learning Consultant I contributes to Learning & Development strategy, programs, processes, accountabilities, and policies to deliver customer-centered products efficiently and cost-effectively, aligning with business unit and enterprise strategies. Allstate is seeking Casualty Learning & Development Consultants to support the design and development of the Casualty Injury College, an innovative learning program focused on building adjuster capability and performance. In this remote role, you will create engaging, adult-learning experiences that strengthen claim judgment, evaluation accuracy, negotiation effectiveness, and customer communication skills. Working closely with business partners and subject matter experts, you will design practice-based, real-world learning solutions that drive measurable improvements in quality, cycle time, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Designs and delivers learning offerings aligned to business and enterprise strategy within an agile team, ensuring talent management practices are supported.
- Maintains a catalog of offerings and recommends content to meet business unit and enterprise needs.
- Participates in audit and quality reviews of learning systems.
- Coordinates the initial set-up of classes, including reviewing class lists and preparing materials.
- Builds and maintains relationships with business partners, clients, and cross-functional teams; drives adoption of a skills-based culture through learning design and delivery.
- Measures learning effectiveness and shares recommendations for improvement; provides learner support as needed.
- Coaches and supports learners through learning exercises.
Requirements
- Instructional Design: Develops blended learning solutions (ILT, VILT, simulations, job aids, assessments) aligned to business needs.
- Understanding and application of adult learning principles and instructional design best practices.
- Ability to create measurable learning objectives, assessments, and evaluation strategies.
- Develops instructional materials including facilitator guides, participant materials, video and eLearning courses, job aids and performance support tools, and simulations and critical thinking, scenario-based activities.
- Proficiency with Articulate Rise and Storyline.
- Proficiency with Camtasia or other audio/video production tools.
- Proficiency with Microsoft suite of products.
- Proficiency with Adobe tools and resources.
- Proficiency with AI based resources and tools like Synthesia.
- Designs and facilitates end-to-end claim simulations and applied learning experiences.
- Provides actionable coaching to drive behavior change and skill adoption.
- Builds capability in prioritization, workflow execution, and claim management.
- Models and teaches empathy, professionalism, and clear customer communication.
- Create measurable learning objectives, assessments, and evaluation strategies.
- Casualty Claims Expertise with a strong knowledge of evaluation accuracy and exposure recognition, medical literacy and causation, demand handling and negotiation strategy, litigation fundamentals, discovery, and settlement strategy, and desk and pending management.
- Must have a dedicated, private workspace free from distractions, along with appropriate desk and seating when working from home.
- Reliable internet is required, with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload.

- L&D Consultant I: $53,500- $86,400
- L&D Consultant II: $56,000 - $93,250
- L&D Sr Consultant I: $62,100 - $105,300
- L&D Sr Consultant II: $65,600 - $111,550
