About the Role
FanDuel is seeking a Senior Manager, HR Business Partner to join our HRBP team. This role will partner with leaders across functions to deliver people strategies that drive business performance, strengthen organizational effectiveness, and support teams through change. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting different types of functions and leadership styles, possess solid business judgment, organizational effectiveness expertise, change management capability, and the confidence to influence and partner effectively with leaders.
Responsibilities
- Own HR partnership for an assigned client group, building strong relationships with leaders and understanding their strategic priorities.
- Support leaders with talent planning, performance management, organizational structure decisions, and capability building for their teams.
- Lead and manage organizational change initiatives within your client group, ensuring clear communication, leader alignment, and successful adoption.
- Diagnose people issues, work through root causes with leaders, and develop practical, business-informed solutions.
- Measure the impact of people strategies and recommendations; use data and insights to improve decision-making and outcomes.
- Provide coaching and feedback to leaders on talent development, leadership effectiveness, and creating high-performing teams.
- Partner across the People Team (Talent Acquisition, People Operations, Total Rewards, Legal, Employee Relations, Analytics) to deliver integrated people solutions for your client group.
- Execute core HRBP work with excellence — talent planning, performance management, employee relations, and organizational change.
- Develop and improve how you deliver HRBP partnership by identifying process improvements, strengthening skills, and building better tools and approaches.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3-4 years of HR Business Partner experience, including direct partnership with leaders.
- Minimum of 6-7 years of professional experience.
- Experience operating in fast-paced, complex business environments.
- Demonstrated experience in organizational change, talent management, and performance management.
- Strong ability to diagnose people issues and recommend business-informed solutions.
- Experience building and maintaining strong relationships with leaders at multiple levels.
- Track record of leading projects and managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Comfort with data and metrics; ability to measure and communicate impact.
- Strong HR functional expertise across talent planning, performance management, employee relations, organizational structure, engagement, and culture.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional partners to deliver integrated HR solutions.
