About the Role
Focus on sponsorship sales for a key account in the competitive cheerleading and dance space, securing new brand partnerships for a leading organization reaching millions of athletes, families, and fans. Drive founding-level, league-wide sponsorships for a professional cheer platform and shape strategic sales initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Identify potential partnership opportunities on behalf of clients.
- Reach out to leads and prospects.
- Drive outbound sales efforts via cold outreach (email, calls, LinkedIn).
- Build and maintain a pipeline of corporate partnership prospects.
- Set up calls and meetings to introduce new brands to partnership opportunities.
- Facilitate relationship growth and communication between clients and prospective partners.
- Stay informed on industry events, publications, and trends to identify opportunities.
- Utilize detailed reporting of sales pipeline and activity for internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of sponsorship sales experience/exposure (Team, Agency, Property, etc).
- Knowledge and understanding of the sports sponsorship landscape.
- Drive and toughness to manage multiple demanding projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Firm grasp of networking platforms within the sports management industry.
- Excellent presentation, written, and oral communication skills.
- Acute attention to detail, organization, and efficiency.
- Experience using MS Office, Salesforce, and Google Suite.
