About the Role

The Director of Partnership Sales works closely with department leadership to generate and close sponsorship sales for assigned properties and/or regions. This position is responsible for seeing a sponsorship sale through completion, including developing pitches, negotiating deal points, addressing client concerns, and finding creative solutions. The Director will manage their sales team to set and meet sales goals.

Responsibilities

  • Sell complex sponsorship assets including media, experiential, and VIP hospitality packages.
  • Identify and cultivate brands/marketing executives within targeted accounts.
  • Create and develop presentations for clients, including creative concepts and utilizing various resources.
  • Address client concerns, questions, and objections to close sponsorship deals.
  • Negotiate and re-negotiate sponsorship assets/deal points for renewals.
  • Keep sales management apprised of progress toward revenue goals and prospect closing.
  • Use department CRM system.

Requirements

  • BA/BS Degree in a related field.
  • 6-8 years of related work experience.
  • Expertise in identifying opportunities, developing strategies, and negotiating creative solutions.
  • Exemplary problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to synergize the efforts of individuals and teams from multiple AEG business units.
  • Ability to work with leadership to effectively manage a sales team.
  • Poise and professionalism when interacting with internal and external contacts.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to learn required business systems.
  • Strong sales acumen and knowledge of the music space.
  • Proven track record in building successful partnerships and securing investments with FORTUNE 500 organizations.
  • Established reputation and track record of success with major brands or agencies.
  • Must not require work visa sponsorship.
