About the Role
The Assistant, Specialty Lines Solutions Portfolio is responsible for organizing and maintaining Letters of Authority (LOAs), contracts, compliance documentation, and portfolio setup within a new Delegated Authority technology platform. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, with strong Excel and problem-solving skills and an interest in specialty lines portfolio management, program underwriting, compliance, governance, and process improvement.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining SharePoint sites and document repositories by organizing Letters of Authority (LOAs), contract and compliance documentation and related records to support distribution operations.
- Uploading and validating data within a new Delegated Authority technology platform to enable accurate and efficient bordereau processing.
- Supporting the development of training materials, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and user guides to support system adoption and ongoing enhancements.
- Supporting the implementation and ongoing administration of compliance and market conduct frameworks while identifying opportunities for process improvements and stronger controls.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in or graduated from a bachelor’s degree program in a related field (commerce, finance, economics, insurance, risk management, or related field).
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and AI tools (Copilot).
- Interest in the insurance industry and a desire to learn.
- You will be subject to a Background check as a condition of employment.
- Detail oriented work that requires a high degree of mental concentration for extended periods of time.
