Responsibilities
- Completes daily financial operations by collecting and posting rent, fees, and other payments.
- Prepares daily bank deposits and monthly close-out reports.
- Processes vendor invoices and payables.
- Operates property management software, ensuring data integrity through updates and backups.
- Reviews resident files to identify and collect unpaid or late fees.
- Communicates with residents regarding outstanding balances and enforces lease terms for revenue maximization.
- Manages vendor communication for invoice reconciliation and payment.
- Follows established procedures for evictions, including notice requirements and court representation.
- Processes resident move-outs according to lease terms and legal requirements.
- Promotes resident satisfaction by addressing complaints, questions, and requests promptly.
- Acts as on-site supervisor in the community manager's absence, delegating tasks and managing operations.
- Assists with leasing, showing apartments, and processing applications.
- Prepares lease and move-in documents.
- Promotes a positive image of the apartment community and management company.
Requirements
- High School or equivalent education.
- Strong Math Skills.
- Bilingual preferred.
- Possession of a Driver's License.
- Satisfactory results of a Criminal History Record Check.
- No convictions for misdemeanor or felony offenses involving illegal drug use, public indecency, theft, or crimes against persons or property.
- Disclosure of all criminal history on the employment application.
- Satisfactory results of a Drug Screen Test.
- No positive test results for illegal drug use or alcohol abuse.
