About the Role

We are seeking a mid-level UI/UX Designer to join Crossdock Studios, specializing in bringing 0-to-1 product ideas to life. You will manage the full design lifecycle, from concept and user research to wireframes, prototypes, and final UI, collaborating with product managers and engineers to transform early-stage ideas into intuitive experiences. This generalist role requires flexibility across research, interaction design, visual design, and design systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct user interviews, synthesize findings, and translate insights into actionable design decisions.
• Map user journeys and flows, build wireframes and prototypes, and iterate based on feedback and usability testing.
• Create polished, high-fidelity mockups and visual designs that are consistent, accessible, and on-brand.
• Contribute to and maintain a shared component library/design system to ensure consistency across web and mobile.
• Partner closely with PMs and engineers throughout the product lifecycle — from early concept through implementation and QA.
• Build interactive prototypes to test concepts before development investment.
• Present design rationale and decisions clearly to stakeholders, incorporating feedback from technical and non-technical partners alike.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in UI/UX design for digital products (web and/or mobile).
• A strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design work — research, flows, wireframes, and finished UI.
• Proficiency in modern design tools (e.g., Figma) and familiarity with prototyping tools.
• Solid understanding of usability principles, accessibility standards, and responsive/adaptive design.
• Comfort working in ambiguous, fast-moving environments — this role touches early-stage product exploration as well as refinement of existing features.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to advocate for user needs while balancing business and technical constraints.
