About the Role
This role involves completing assigned work orders for resident requests and preventative maintenance, diagnosing and repairing issues, and preparing apartment homes for new move-ins. The position also supports grounds maintenance and cost-saving initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Complete assigned work orders for resident requests and preventative maintenance.
- Diagnose and repair defects or problems according to established standards.
- Complete the make-ready process for vacant apartment homes.
- Perform pre-move-out inspections and create maintenance punch lists.
- Schedule vendors and contractors as needed.
- Obtain necessary supplies and materials.
- Complete all maintenance tasks and inspect completed work.
- Follow procedures for accessing and tracking maintenance materials, supplies, and equipment.
- Notify the maintenance supervisor about re-ordering needs.
- Complete documentation and paperwork accurately and timely.
- Assist in maintaining grounds, common areas, and amenities.
- Support cost-cutting and expense control programs.
- Perform Preventative Maintenance.
- Willing to work a flexible schedule and on-call.
Requirements
- Minimum Two Years of Apartment Maintenance Preferred
- Valid Driver’s License
- AC Certification I and II
- Satisfactory results of a thorough Criminal History Record Check(s).
- Satisfactory results of a Drug Screen Test.
