About the Role
Circuit of The Americas is seeking a skilled and licensed Journeyman Plumber to manage installations and service projects across the property. The role involves executing complex layouts, maintaining commercial infrastructure, and mentoring apprentices while ensuring safety and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Identify potential problems to prevent system failures
- Maintain and repair plumbing systems for water, steam, chemicals, and fuel
- Inspect high-pressure air, steam, water, and gas systems for malfunctions
- Interpret drawings and specifications to determine layout requirements
- Measure, cut, thread, bend, ream, and install pipe and fittings
- Locate and mark positions for pipe installations and fixtures
- Install pipe assemblies, valves, and appliances using hand or power tools
- Maintain accurate documentation of repairs and installations
- Submit paperwork in an accurate and timely manner
- Maintain a clean and stocked service vehicle
- Participate in periodic inventory and truck inspections
- Maintain tools and machinery in good condition and follow safety protocols
Requirements
- Texas Journeyman Plumbers License
- 5+ years of experience
- Ability to pass regulatory requirements for heavy equipment operation
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work extended hours, nights, and weekends
Skills
- Knowledge of National Plumbing Code
- Knowledge of local plumbing codes and ordinances
- Blueprint and drawing interpretation
- Basic change-order cost-estimating
- Microsoft Word proficiency
- Microsoft Excel proficiency
